🇫🇷 Un premier évent ce week-end de Méga afin d'accueillir les premiers géocacheurs arrivés dans la région et les géocacheurs locaux. Au programme, un petit évent d'accueil en territoire canadien.
Eh oui, vous ne le savez sans doute pas, mais le territoire sur lequel se déroule cet évent a été offert de façon perpetuelle à la nation canadienne en remerciement du sacrifice réalisé par ses enfants lors de la première guerre mondiale!
Il est directement géré et administré par les autorités canadiennes sur place.

Ce sera ensuite l'occasion de découvrir les abords du site: optionnel
Découverte du monument canadien
Découverte des tranchées reconstituées à l'emplacement de celles de l'époque
Découverte du centre d'accueil et d'éducation (~musée)
Découverte du réseau souterrain de tunnels de Vimy
Découverte des étudiants canadiens et du personnel canadien qui accueille les visiteurs tout au long de l'année.
A first event this Mega weekend to welcome the first geocachers arriving in the region and local geocachers. On the program is a small welcome event in Canadian territory. And yes, you probably don't know it, but the territory on which this event takes place was offered in perpetuity to the Canadian nation in gratitude for the sacrifice made by its children during the First World War. It is directly managed and administered by the Canadian authorities on site.

Signing of the logbook.
11:30 a.m. wreath laying in honor of the soldiers and civilians who fell during the conflict.
This will then be the opportunity to discover the surroundings of the site: optional
Discovery of the Canadian monument
Discovery of reconstituted trenches on the site of those of the time
Discovery of the reception and education center (~museum)
Discovery of the underground network of Vimy tunnels
Discovery of Canadian students and Canadian staff who welcome visitors throughout the year.
🇩🇪 Eine erste Veranstaltung an diesem Mega-Wochenende, um die ersten in der Region ankommenden Geocacher und lokale Geocacher willkommen zu heißen. Auf dem Programm steht eine kleine Willkommensveranstaltung auf kanadischem Territorium. Und ja, Sie wissen es wahrscheinlich nicht, aber das Territorium, auf dem dieses Ereignis stattfindet, wurde der kanadischen Nation als Dank für die Opfer, die ihre Kinder während des Ersten Weltkriegs erbracht haben, auf ewig geschenkt.
