With Kind permission of Mistley Parish Council to hold an Event and any caches Published within Furze Hills Fir Forest.
Come and have a walk round Furze Hills Forest collecting litter and maybe a cache or 20.
The walk will take us round the winding paths of the Fir Forest and some of its ancient, gnarled Oak trees and the more famous one, Old Knobbly which we will be passing.
We will be very close to the lake, so bring a fishing rod with a hook if you have one.
The paths are a little hilly and well walked but not suitable for pushchairs. When I walked the course there was a bit of mud which I hope will dry out by then.
Equipment and gloves aren't provided so if you have your own please bring them. I will have mine. Bags will be provided.
This event also falls during CITO 2024, Season 1, so you will be able to earn a CITO 2024 Season 1 souvenir by attending.
We will meet at the above coords to sign in and be briefed as to where and what we will be doing. This is also the start of the 10 Ad Labs and 10 caches. We will go as a group promptly at 10.30 so please be on time. Those less able may want to finish at the end of the Ad Lab stage if they don't want to tackle the hills.
