Blue Switch Day CITO 

 

This is a chance to get to a CITO on Blue Switch Day. Come along and help clean up along the Georges River.

This will be a traditional clean-up event where we’ll clean up rubbish from the bush and the banks to clean up part of Scott Park, Sans Souci. 

By attending this CITO Event, you will be rewarded with the CITO 2024 Season 1 and Blue Switch Day 2024 souvenirs.

DATE: Thursday 2nd May 2024

TIME: From 10:15 am - 11:15 am

LOCATION: Scott Park, Sans Souci.

PARKING: Along Riverside Drive.

GETTING THERE: Car, bicycle, bus or foot.

The reserve is located within the Bayside Council LGA. Park along Riverside Drive.

What to Bring: Strong gardening-type gloves, sunscreen, water and enclosed shoes. It is also recommended you wear a long sleeve shirt, pants and a hat. Wet weather gear is also suggested in case of inclement conditions. Bring some bags if you have any.

Trash bags and a First Aid Kit will be provided by the CO

Cache In Trash Out® events bring geocachers together to care for the geocaching game board: planet Earth. CITO events might focus on tree planting, litter pick up, or even habitat restoration. They’re a chance for geocachers to give back to their local spaces and communities.
