Geocache Description:

27 April 2024, 09:00 - 10:00

Mouse's First Annual Spring Float
~~~ Event Time: 9am-10am ~~~
DATE: SATURDAY, APRIL 27th 2024
Let's enjoy an early season kayak paddle, fellowship and search some high terrain geocaches. May also be some new land caches in the surrounding areas.
Yes, this will be a yearly event starting with this one. Next year it might be a new river, creek, stream, lake, mud puddle or it might be the same. Let's start with this one and set a yearly tradition.
Standard Meet and Greet with river float to follow. May want to bring a lawn chair if you need to sit down. Meet and Greet Event Logbook open until we hit the river. You don't have to kayak or go down the river to attend the event. I do highly recommend. Leave a comment if you are in need of a kayak and perhaps a fellow cacher has an extra!
Hope to see you there!!!
Rules and Regulations:
Michigan law does not require a license to operate a paddle-propelled kayak, nor do you need to register your vessel, but you do need a U.S. Coast Guard-approved PFD.
Indiana law requires all watercraft to carry one wearable PFD (personal flotation device) for each person on board. License Requirements – If propulsion is solely achieved through human effort, registration is not required.
See you soon!
