Place The George Lambourn High Street
On 19th August 2013 the 1st Lambourn Event was held just down the road in a place that has a fine Muriel today. There were just three attendees, Kryfto, maclynn and Pebbles&Co. Well as the host it would be rude not to attend. We talked about all things geocaching and as we did not know each other there was lots to share including something about the history of geocaching and its link to Letterboxing. We had a good evening and were joined by Longpod at the 2nd Lambourn Event
So this is the 100th event. We have been to three different venues all within Lambourn and had a day out visiting Apollo Firs in Perth. Recently some of us have cached together and plans are often hatched at our events.
Join me and my collies in the George to celebrate the 100th Event. There will be all the usual banter about geocaching and all things related as well as a chance to catch up on all the latest gossip. Do you struggle with puzzles - here there is a chance to ask others about those difficult caches.
I would recommend parking either in the market square or in the main car park up the High Street as there is a one hour restriction in the High Street itself. There is also a small parking area to the back of the pub.
Please note the George does not serve food on Monday evenings.
