This event is the set for the evening of the Fraser Valley Cache Bash 7 release day in my backyard. Come by have a cup of coffee or hot chocolate around a campfire and talk about todays caches and adventures. Today is also Star Wars Day so there will be some theme happening.
By now you probable have heard about the Fraser Valley Cache Bash, if not it is an event that is in it's seventh year and is a three month event. Two months of planning/building and placing caches. This event promotes refreshing the board game with new geocaches. With hides placed anywhere from Langley - Hope. With this month the last of the three for finding and voting for your favorite caches. Please vote possible categories Best Cache, Most Evil, Best View, Best Hike, Best Camouflage and Most Themed. This year the theme is Colours along with Geocaching.com monthly geocaching themes for 2024 which are March - plants and mushrooms April - Colourful Caches May - Sports and Video Games. It's not too late to hide, cache submission cut-off is April 20th. Late submission are accepted but may not get published for the May 4th today release day. Hiders get a profile souvenir to display proudly.
June 1st is the Wrap-Up Event where prizes will be handed out. For each vote submitted get an entree into a draw for a prize. So remember to vote.
