If doing the trail in reverse order this cache is a possible starting point from the Daguan Nanlu (大观南路) metro station, which is only 400m away to the south.
The blueway winds through a mix of housing types in this section, with the mysterious and heavily guarded Huayue Villa (华悦山庄) compound to the southeast. An urban village, the 'Huangcun Tiger Buddha' (黄村老虎佛) is located across the canal to the east.
Some kind of large military compound takes up a big area to the west of this cache and explains why this section is lined by tall, opaque and forbidding walls on the western side in stark contrast to the perfectly integrated urban villages further north. There are some intriguing glimpses into the compound but caches are not placed near the military area, resulting in the relatively larger gap between caches #19 and #20.
