International Pillow Fight Day Event Cache

International Pillow Fight Day is a yearly global event that takes place on the first Saturday in April, and is celebrated in many world-famous locations such as New York, Seattle, London and now, er, Erdington.

So here's the plan: Bring a pillow. Bring your best pyjamas (optional - if it's pouring with rain, I'd suggest wearing something more appropriate). We'll assemble from 10am, and have a few minutes to have a natter and let the late-comers catch up. At 10:15, the whistle will blow and fifteen minutes of soft, pillowy mayhem will commence - like a really rubbish episode of Gladiators, only not quite.

(NB: The pillow fight bit is not compulsory. If you'd prefer, just bring some popcorn and watch the CO and Optimist on the run whaling away at each other's heads with their pillows.)

Safety bit: Appropriate fillings for pillows include foam, feathers, and the softer parts of clouds. Rather less appropriate fillings include rocks, barbed wire, and angry porcupines. Please apply common sense here.

It is also the CO's birthday. There may be severe danger of excessive cake consumption. You have been warned.
