Le phare de Ploumanac’h situé à Perros-Guirec, officiellement phare de Mean Ruz, est un bâtiment construit en granit rose d’une hauteur de 15 mètres, qui indique l’entrée de la passe menant au port de Ploumanac’h à Perros-Guirec. Il tire son nom Mean Ruz de l’expression bretonne « Men Ruz », signifiant pierre rouge.
Il remplace un précèdent phare construit en 1853 et détruit par les Allemands en 1944.
À sa reconstruction en 1947, il fut entièrement automatisé avec un feu rouge à occultations avec un secteur blanc. Le secteur blanc couvre la partie Est du chenal des Sept Îles entre Tomé et Rouzic. Par nuit claire, sa portée est de 12 milles nautiques, soit environ 20 kilomètres.

Le phare de Mean Ruz est fermé à la visite.
Les mosaïques intérieures sont l’œuvre du mosaïste rennais Isidore Odorico.
ACCÈS :
Vous pouvez accéder au Phare de Ploumanac’h à pied depuis le parking de la point de granite (Payant - Waypoint n°7) ou de la plage de Saint-Guirec (Parking gratuit - Waypoint n°6).
Il vous faut ensuite suivre le sentier des douaniers jusqu’à la Maison du littoral (Waypoint n°4), le phare (Waypoint n°1) est situé juste en face, au coeur du chaos granitique. Point de passage en waypoint n°5.
RESPECT DES LIEUX :
Veillez à rester sur les sentiers et de ne pas franchir les fils de fer délimitant les chemins. Ne marchez pas sur les landes de bruyères qui sont protégées. La prise de photo doit être faite depuis les chemins.
QUE FAIRE POUR VALIDER LA VIRTUELLE ?
Pour pouvoir loguer en "Found it", il vous faudra joindre 2 photos à votre log. En cas de problème, je vous contacterai.
Bien évidemment, il n'est pas obligatoire, de montrer votre visage. Votre pseudo devant le lieu est accepté !

The Ploumanac'h lighthouse located in Perros-Guirec, officially the Mean Ruz lighthouse, is a building constructed of pink granite with a height of 15 meters, which indicates the entrance to the pass leading to the port of Ploumanac'h in Perros -Guirec. It takes its name Mean Ruz from the Breton expression “Men Ruz”, meaning red stone.
It replaces a previous lighthouse built in 1853 and destroyed by the Germans in 1944.
When it was rebuilt in 1947, it was fully automated with a concealed red light with a white sector. The white sector covers the eastern part of the Sept Îles channel between Tomé and Rouzic. On a clear night, its range is 12 nautical miles, or about 20 kilometers.

The Mean Ruz lighthouse is closed to visitors.
The interior mosaics are the work of Rennes mosaicist Isidore Odorico.
ACCESS :
You can access the Ploumanac'h Lighthouse on foot from the Point de Granite car park (Paid - Waypoint n°7) or from Saint-Guirec beach (Free car park - Waypoint n°6).
You must then follow the customs officers' path to the Maison du littoral (Waypoint n°4), the lighthouse (Waypoint n°1) is located just opposite, in the heart of the granite chaos. Waypoint #5.
RESPECT FOR THE PREMISES:
Be sure to stay on the trails and not cross the wire lines marking the paths. Do not walk on the heather moors which are protected. Photos must be taken from the paths.
