En 2017, Fougères ressuscitait son slogan "T'as pas vu Fougères T'as rien vu …", un clin d'œil à une campagne de communication qui avait fait grand bruit 25 ans plus tôt.

Début 1986, la ville finance une campagne d'affiches pour valoriser régionalement son patrimoine.
Rapidement s'impose le slogan :

- The Victor Hugo Theater, an Italian-style theater inaugurated in 1886
- The 'Butte à Bigot' and its view of the upper town
- The 'Couvent des Urbanistes', a former convent founded in 1633, built in 1680 for the community of Poor Clares from the Monastery of Patience in Laval.
- The facade of the former MOREL & GATE shoe factory, decorated with the splendid mosaics of Odorico
