En effet pour loguer celle-ci, vous allez devoir marcher un peu, 2-3 km avec dénivellé, en effectuant un "chemin de croix", relever des indices tout en découvrant de jolis sites avec de beaux points de vue pour finir à la croix.
Vous trouverz également en début du circuit des panneaux explicatifs d'un circuit d’interprétation qui raconte l’histoire et les secrets de ce site vivant.
Il y a du dénivellé sur les 2-3 km du circuit. Soyez prudent en hiver ou lors de temps de pluie.

L'historique de la Croix des Jeunes et du circuite de la levée :
La première croix aurait été implantée en 1908 par l'abbé JOLIVET.
La seconde fut portée en procession en 1934 par des jeunes de 20 ans puis détruite dans un incendie en 1971.
La troisième croix a été construite en béton armé pendant l'été 1973.
Sa bénédiction eut lieu le 13 septembre 1973.
Témoin de la formation géologique de notre région, l’histoire de la Levée est marquée par la présence des Hommes. Probablement fréquenté par les chasseurs-cueilleurs dès la Préhistoire, le site fut un lieu privilégié de contemplation, au Moyen Âge, pour les moines de l’abbaye de Redon qui avaient érigé un prieuré à proximité.
Durant l’hiver 1812, alors qu’un froid glacial s’abattait sur la région, le curé de la paroisse de Pléchâtel, Monsieur Lohier de La Motte, se mit en tête de proposer du travail aux familles du village. C’est ainsi qu’ont été creusés les escaliers escarpés que l’on peut sillonner, aujourd’hui encore, sur les flancs de la falaise de schiste.
En 1878, l’abbé Amand Jolivet aménage des stations de piété : statuaires religieuses, et grottes, sculptées parfois à même la roche. L’architecte Arthur Regnault édifie les deux oratoires (des chapelles de dimension restreinte), vers 1890.
À l’été 2019, grâce au Sij, douze volontaires venus de toute l’Europe avaient prêté main forte à des habitants de Pléchâtel. Ensemble, ils avaient participé à l’embellissement des sentiers, à l’entretien des bancs naturels, et avaient partagé une expérience humaine inoubliable.
En 2020, la Communauté de communes, en partenariat avec l’association AVPP, a confié la réalisation d’un parcours d’interprétation à Uriell Hirel de la société Paysages Sonores. À partir de récits, d’anecdotes ou d’anciennes cartes postales, elle a confectionné un circuit qui raconte l’histoire et les secrets de ce site vivant. Les panneaux pédagogiques ont été installés par le chantier d’insertion communautaire, et la rénovation des grilles a été confiée à l’association Études et chantiers.
Tout au long du parcours, vous êtes invités à toucher, sentir, écouter, observer et vivre différentes expériences ludiques. Un site à découvrir, ou à redécouvrir, avec de bonnes chaussures, et un peu de souffle.

- vous posterez avec votre log une photo de la croix depuis les coordonnées et vous incluant (montrer votre visage est complètement facultatif), ou une partie de votre corps ou encore un objet lié au géocaching.
- vous nous m'enverrez les réponses relevées en chemin aux deux questions suivantes :
1- Au jeu de l'oie, combien avez-vous compté de cases numérotées ?
2- A la grotte de Notre Dame de Lourdes, quelle année est gravée sur la dernière plaque en bas à gauche ?
Si ces conditions ne sont pas remplies, le found it ne sera pas validé.
A virtual experience that is worth it :
Indeed, to log this, you will have to walk a little while performing a "station of the cross", picking up clues while discovering pretty sites with beautiful views to finish at the cross. You will also find at the start of the circuit explanatory panels of an interpretation circuit which tells the history and secrets of this living site.
There is some elevation change over the 2-3 km of the circuit. Be careful in winter or during rainy weather.
The history of the Youth Cross and the lifting circuit :
The first cross was said to have been installed in 1908 by Father JOLIVET.
The second was carried in a procession in 1934 by young people aged 20 and then destroyed in a fire in 1971.
The third cross was built from reinforced concrete during the summer of 1973.

Witness to the geological formation of our region, the history of the Levée is marked by the presence of humans. Probably frequented by hunter-gatherers since prehistory, the site was a privileged place of contemplation, in the Middle Ages, for the monks of Redon Abbey who had built a priory nearby.
During the winter of 1812, as an icy cold fell on the region, the parish priest of Pléchâtel, Mr. Lohier de La Motte, decided to offer work to the families of the village. This is how the steep stairs were dug that can still be navigated today on the sides of the schist cliff.

In the summer of 2019, thanks to Sij, twelve volunteers from all over Europe lent a helping hand to residents of Pléchâtel. Together, they had participated in the beautification of the trails, the maintenance of the natural benches, and had shared an unforgettable human experience.
In 2020, the Community of Communes, in partnership with the AVPP association, entrusted the creation of an interpretation trail to Uriell Hirel of the company Paysages Sonores. Using stories, anecdotes and old postcards, she has created a circuit that tells the history and secrets of this living site. The educational panels were installed by the community integration project, and the renovation of the gates was entrusted to the Études et Chantiers association.
Throughout the course, you are invited to touch, smell, listen, observe and live different fun experiences. A site to discover, or rediscover, with good shoes and a little breath.
To validate your find :
- you will post with your log a photo of the cross from the coordinates and including yourself (showing your face is completely optional), or a part of your body or an object related to geocaching. - you will send us the answers you found along the way to the following two questions :
1- In the goose game, how many numbered squares did you count?
2- At the grotto of Notre Dame de Lourdes, what year is engraved on the last plaque at the bottom left?
If these conditions are not met, the found it will not be validated.
