Mémorial de l'Aéronautique Navale
Monument de l'Aéronautique Navale élevé en 1988 dans un encuvement de canon allemand datant de la Seconde Guerre Mondiale et appartenant à la batterie défendant le Cap de la Chèvre contre toute invasion alliée.
La longue liste des noms des aviateurs disparus dans l'Atlantique Nord est classée année par année, depuis la date de la création de l'Aéronavale (1910-1911), c'est-à-dire l'aviation embarquée sur des navires de guerre.
Le symbole est fort, une aile brisée en granit et, à sa base, le dessin des constellations du ciel. L'œuvre est du peintre - sculpteur André Bizette-Lindet (1906-1988), prix de Rome 1931.
Deux soldats morts en 1870 et 1902, en ballon libre, sont aussi honorés ainsi que l'équipage d'un hélicoptère super Frelon dont l'accident de vol s'est produit non loin de là en 1979.
