Em Estremoz parece que encontramos o Alentejo ideal, onde o património histórico coroa, no alto da colina, os campos agrícolas de searas e vinhas a perder de vista. O mármore branco, que sai do fundo da terra, é a imagem de marca de igrejas, capelas, palácios e pedras da calçada, fazendo com que Estremoz seja conhecido como a “cidade branca” do Alentejo.
O Rossio é uma das mais monumentais praças do Alentejo, e foi escolhido como ponto de partida para um percurso que promete paisagens magníficas e que sai rapidamente do espaço urbano para a envolvência do caminho rural. Ao longo do percurso irás encontrar adegas, ermidas, fontes e muito mais.

In Estremoz we seem to have found the ideal Alentejo, where the historical heritage crowns, at the top of the hill, the agricultural fields of crops and vineyards as far as the eye can see. The white marble, which comes from the bottom of the earth, is the hallmark of churches, chapels, palaces and sidewalk stones, making Estremoz known as the “white city” of Alentejo.
Rossio is one of the most monumental squares in Alentejo, and was chosen as the starting point for a route that promises magnificent landscapes and that quickly leaves the urban space for the surroundings of the rural path. Along the route you will find wineries, hermitages, fountains and much more.
