There is no permanent SideTracked geocache at Littlehampton but there will be an event on Monday, 18th December 2023 from 5pm at the George Inn - our waiting room!
Meet the host in the warmth of the large George Inn pub to chat all things geocaching (and trains, if need be). Drinks and food will be available throughout this event. Feel free to exchange Trackables.
About Littlehampton railway station - the present station in the town opened in 1863. Prior to that the local station was on the Brighton and Portsmouth mainline to the north called Arundel and Littlehampton which opened in 1846. That station closed soon after the branch line to the town open. Electricification of the line took place in 1938. The original station building was demolished in 1986 and the present station building opened in 1987.
