Time for my annual geo catch-up at the Battlefield!
An outdoor event by the silver birch at Leanach Cottage. Waterproofs and thermals may be required, but fingers crossed the sun will shine. Coffee shop could be busy, but happy to pop in there to continue the event if it overruns.
It's also a 'Community Thank You Day' (probably a Christmas Fair too) if you wish to take a wander round the visitor centre for free - you must bring proof of address in certain areas to gain free access to the exhibition (areas to be confirmed). Parking fees are likely to apply on the day unless you are a member of National Trust, have a blue badge or are prepared to walk from the smaller car park at the entrance.
