November's Nurturing Natives and Nixing Nightmares
CITO 2023 Season 2
Attend a CITO between September 1st and November 30th to earn the Season 2 Souvenir
Parking: There is some limited street parking opposite the reserve on Laxton Road or you can park nearby on Otter Road - see relevant waypoints.
Where: Meet by the main entrance on Lobleys Drive at 9:30 am or find us in the meadows near the published coords.
What: Join us as we trim and weave the regrowth in the hedges around the main meadows. We will be removing bramble and caring for the newly planted trees.
How: The Countryside Ranger will be there providing guidance and tools if necessary, however, if you have your own shears, loppers and gloves please do bring them along.
The meadows can get quite wet after sustained rain, so if there has been raining in the lead up to this event then wellies are recommended.
Health and Safety: The session and will be covered by council insurance as long as you are working under the Countryside Ranger's instruction.
Please make sure you bring along your own refreshments as it can be thirsty work!
