Lietuvos mokyklos - tai Lietuvos mokyklose veikiančių jaunųjų miško bičiulių naujas projektas, kurio tikslas – skatinti vaikų smalsumą, plėsti gamtos ir navigacijos žinias. Taip pat populiarinti geocaching žaidimą tarp mokinių ir mokytojų, išmokyti mokytojus pasinaudoti geocaching sistemos galimybėmis ugdymo procese.
Lithuanian schools is a new project of young forest buddies of Lithuanian schools, the purpose is to stimulate children's curiosity, expand knowledge of nature and navigation. Mažeikių parkas.
Įkurtas XX a. viduryje Mažeikių mieste,randžiame pušynėlyje, kuris užima 11,3 ha teritoriją, iš jų 9,2 ha medžiais apaugęs plotas, 1,4 ha stadionas, taip pat aikštelės, takai, gėlynai, gazonai.
Prie centrinėje dalyje buvusio medinio vasaros teatro veda tiesi alėja iš miesto centro. Prie šios alėjos pastatytos žinomo teatro meno ugdytojo Juozo Vaičkaus, rašytojos Šatrijos Raganos (skulptorius J. Meškelevičius, 1984), Antano Vienažindžio (skulptorius G. Jokūbonis, 1987) skulptūros. Šioje parko dalyje įsikūrusi ir Mažeikių muzikos mokykla bei Mažeikių muziejus. 2001 m. šiaurės rytinėje dalyje, buvusio tvenkinio vietoje, įrengti lauko teniso kortai (sklypo plotas 1840 km. m), priklausantys Antanui Svobotui.
Pietiniame parko pakraštyje įrengtas nedidelis stadionas. Čia kasmet rengiama nemažai įvairių kultūrinių renginių, kaip Dūdų šventė, Pynėjų šventė, sporto varžybos, koncertai.
Mazeikiai Park.
Founded in the 20th century. in the middle of the town of Mažeikiai, in a scarred pine forest, which occupies an area of 11.3 ha, of which 9.2 ha is covered with trees, 1.4 ha is a stadium, as well as playgrounds, paths, flower beds, lawns. A straight avenue from the city center leads to the former wooden summer theater in the central part. The sculptures of the well-known theater art educator Juoz Vaičkaus, the writer Shatrija Ragana (sculptor J. Meškelevičius, 1984), and Antanas Vienažindis (sculptor G. Jokūbonis, 1987) were placed near this alley. The Mažeikiai Music School and the Mažeikiai Museum are also located in this part of the park. in 2001 in the northeastern part, on the site of the former pond, there are outdoor tennis courts (plot area 1840 km. m), belonging to Antanas Svobots. A small stadium is located on the southern edge of the park. Every year, a number of different cultural events are held here, such as the Bagpipes Festival, the Pynei Festival, sports competitions, and concerts.
