CITO 2023 Season 2
Attend a CITO between September 1st and November 30th to earn the Season 2 Souvenir
PATH EDGE TRIMMING, THE OAK MEADOW AT ROBINSWOOD HILL COUNTRY PARK
Parking: Robinswood Hill Country Park has a large free car park (see parking waypoint). Access from Reservoir Road.
Where: We will meet up by the Rangers Station (see reference waypoint) for 10:00 to collect tools, then head off towards the work site at the Oak Meadow.
What: We will be trimming the hedgeline along the footpath at the base of the Oak Meadow, chopping back bramble growth that is encroaching on to the path and removing any overhanging branches.
How: The Countryside Ranger will be there providing guidance and tools. Please bring your own work gloves if possible, and if you wish to use your own tools (shears, loppers, secateurs) please do bring them along. Don't worry if you don't have tools as the Ranger will have a supply.
Health and Safety: The session and will be covered by council insurance as long as you are working under the Countryside Ranger's instruction.
Please bring water and a hot drink / snack for breaktime. Homemade cake will be provided. 😁
