Geocache Description:

This cache is in a brand new park in Dayton overlooking the Cloquet island on the Mississippi and Anoka county to the north.

This is a brand new park, in fact it is not even finished yet, please do not trample the newly planted grass or bushes. There are stairs that go to the river.

To get to the cache:
    The park is called Cloquet Overlook and is on the Dayton River Road on the south side of the Mississippi, a few miles southeast of downtown Dayton.

About the area:
   The Mississippi river has many islands in this area formed from river deposits. Upstream there are a group of these islands that make up the Mississippi River Islands Scientific and Natural Area (no geocaches allowed in SNAs).
