Another in my occasional series of morning get-togethers, which aim to be within a few miles of the River Erewash, the border between Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. All geocachers are welcome, for an hour or so of chat, the sharing of ideas, the exchange of trackables, and anything to do with our hobby.
This time we are meeting at the Brinsley Lodge public house on Mansfield Road, Brinsley, NG16 5AE. There is an ample car park, and we will be using the upstairs dining area. A full range of breakfasts and drinks is available, and the prices seem very reasonable - of course nobody is obliged to make a purchase.
This is a new location for my events - I have no idea what it is like, but my pre-event visit suggests that it will meet our needs perfectly. It complies with my self-imposed rules - a few yards from the pub is the Brinsley Brook which makes its way down to the Erewash at Langley Mill.
