Le sentier de découverte du Faurissou est un chemin d’interprétation afin de découvrir la richesse floristique faunistique d’une zone dite « humide » et de faire comprendre à tous combien la nature est généreuse mais fragile.
Cette zone humide est dotée de caractéristiques particulières en matière de milieux naturels habités par une flore et une faune diversifiées, telles la fritillaire pintade (protection régionale), la Jacinthe de Rome (protection nationale) et 6 espèces d'amphibiens (Grenouille agile, Grenouille verte, Crapaud épineux, Triton palmé, Rainette méridionale et Triton marbré).
Grâce à la préservation de ce type d’espace, nous soutenons la nature et nous préservons également nos vies car une zone humide participe à l’alimentation des nappes phréatiques si précieuses.
À travers les différents dispositifs pédagogiques, vous comprendrez la diversité des habitats et de ses habitants.
The Faurissou discovery trail is an interpretive path to discover the floral richness of a so-called "wet" area and to make everyone understand how generous but fragile nature is.
This wetland has special characteristics in terms of natural environments inhabited by a diverse flora and fauna, such as the guinea fowl fritillary (regional protection), the hyacinth of Rome (national protection) and 6 species of amphibians (agile frog, green frog, spiny toad, webbed newt, southern tree frog and marbled newt).
Thanks to the preservation of this type of space, we support nature and we also preserve our lives because a wetland participates in the recharge of the precious groundwater.
