Zum Ausklang des Mega GIFF Wochenendes wollen wir uns auf einer außergewöhnlichen und normalerweise nicht zugänglichen Stelle treffen, auf der Aussichtsterrasse eines der höchsten Wohnhochhäuser Europas dem UNI-Center. Mit unverbautem Blick schauen wir aus der Höhe über unser Spielfeld, die Stadt Köln. Bringt eine Kamera oder auch Fernglas mit um die tolle Aussicht festzuhalten.
Treffpunkt ist die "Sturmfreie Bude" in der 29. Etage. Zugang erfolgt über Anmeldung im Erdgeschoß, die die Zugänge zu den Aufzügen öffnet. Leider kann ich das Event nicht kostenlos anbieten, da der Betreiber von mir ein Mietgebühr für Reinigung und Personal fordert. Damit ich nicht alles aus eigener Tasche bezahlen muss, bitte ich euch pro Person 2 Euro bereit zu halten.
Bei der hohen Anmeldezahl kann es zu zeitweisen Zugangsbeschränkungen kommen, da die Terasse feuerpolizeilich nur eine max. Kapazität von 70 Personen hat. Mit dem Betreiber haben wir eine zeitliche Verlängerung abgesprochen, so das jeder die Chance erhält mal Köln aus ungewohnter Panoramasicht zu betrachten. In der Lobby werdet ihr empfangen und zu den "richtigen" Aufzügen geleitet. Bitte nicht einfach in das Haus stürmen.
Zusätzlich wird zum Event in unmittelbarer Nähe eine Lab Serie eröffnet mit dem Namen Luxemburg.

Diverse Bus und Bahnlinien halten direkt vor der Tür des UniCenters und hinter dem Haus befindet sich ein Universitätsparkplatz mit ausreichend Parkmöglichkeiten.
At the end of the Mega GIFF weekend we want to meet at an unusual and normally inaccessible place. On the observation deck of one of the highest residential skyscrapers in Europe, the UNI Center. With unobstructed view we look from the height over our field the city of Cologne. Bring a camera or binoculars to capture the great view.
Meeting point is the "Sturmfreie Bude" on the 29th floor. Access is via registration at the reception on the ground floor, which opens the entrances to the elevators. Unfortunately I can't offer the event for free, because the operator demands a rental fee for cleaning and staff. So that I don't have to pay everything out of my own pocket I ask you to have 2 Euro per person ready.
With the high number of registrations it can come to temporary access restrictions, since the terrace has fire police only a max. capacity of 70 people. With the operator we have agreed on a temporal extension, so that everyone gets the chance to view Cologne from an unusual panoramic view. In the lobby you will be welcomed and guided to the "right" elevators. Please do not simply rush into the building.
In addition to the event, a lab series called Luxembourg will be opened in the immediate vicinity.

Various bus and train lines stop directly in front of the UniCenter and behind the building is a university parking lot with ample parking.
