North Santa Clara was recently the gathering point for thousands of swifties from around the world. Their distinctive plumage and happy voices were seen and heard for miles around. It is said of these birds that their feet hardly touch the ground, and that was certainly true of these recent visitors.

Special Notes: We really wanted to get this one out before or during the event, and place it near one of the "No Parking Stadium Event Days" signs that one of us passes on her morning walks. But, proximity clearance issues prevented that. Luckily this ideal spot was discovered. It was fun seeing the flock all around as we scoped out a spot. We're trying to keep this one easy to not scare them (or you) away.
