Geocache Description:

the 66-hectare Garrad Reserve, immerse yourself in its breathtaking bushland encompassing Old-man Banksia open forest (Bangalay), Swamp Mahogany swamp sclerophyll forest, Turpentine, Red Bloodwood, Sydney Peppermint shrubby open forest, Saltmarsh, and Mangrove along the river bank; established in 2013 under a NSW Government biobanking agreement, which not only provides vital funding to the Shoalhaven council for weed management, feral animal control, and enhancing public access infrastructure but also nurtures a precious habitat amidst neighboring bulldozed areas, leaving you yearning for the once-surrounding bushland protection; keep an attentive eye out for the vibrant presence of common woodland birds like Brown and Striated Thornbills, Brown Gerygones, Golden and Rufous Whistlers, Olive-backed Orioles, Brown Cuckoo-Doves, Fantails, Flycatchers, Whipbirds, and Woodswallows, and be delighted by occasional encounters with the charismatic Black-faced Monarch

Near the majestic yarri tree along the trail in Garrad Reserve, The geocache awaits. Let the geocaching excitement begin!
