Event am See 2024 vom 05. bis 07. Juli 2024
Auch in 2024 ist es wieder soweit: Die Mega-Event-Serie "Event am See" geht in die zehnte Runde. Die Geschichte dieser beeindruckenden Event-Serie begann im Jahr 2014. Zuvor gab es zwar schon Veranstaltungen am Badesee Vogel, allerdings unter anderem Namen und mit anderer Gestaltung.
Neben dem idyllischen Badesee und dem gemütlichen Biergarten Vogel gibt es viele Gründe, warum der Event am See bei zahlreichen Geocachern so beliebt ist: Die Geselligkeit, die Unterhaltung, das entspannte Ambiente, die Gemütlichkeit und die familiäre Atmosphäre sind wohl die Hauptfaktoren, die diese Event-Serie auszeichnen.
Der Auftakt erfolgt am Freitag mit der legendären Get-Together-Party von 18:30 Uhr bis etwa 23:00 Uhr. Auch im Jahr 2024 erwartet euch ein unterhaltsames Programm mit Live-Musik.
Am Samstag, den 6. Juli 2024 findet dann ab 10:00 Uhr der Hauptevent statt. Neben zahlreichen neuen Caches habt ihr die Möglichkeit, an einer Vielzahl von Workshops teilzunehmen. Als besondere Attraktion werden an diesem Nachmittag traditionelle Wettbewerbe ausgetragen. Den Gewinnern winken viel Ehre und Anerkennung. Auch für Kinder wird ein tolles Programm angeboten: Cacherrellay, Quiz und natürlich der großartige Badesee. Den Tag lassen wir gemütlich mit einem Funselabend ausklingen, bei dem nur Kerzenlicht und zauberhaftes Lichtspiel die Atmosphäre bestimmen.
Am Sonntag verabschieden wir uns von 8:00 bis 10:00 Uhr mit einem gemeinsamen Frühstück und einem herrlichen Blick über den See. Um 13:00 Uhr schließt der Badesee seine Tore.
Wie in jedem Jahr könnt ihr euch auf eine vorzügliche Verkostung zu kleinen Preisen freuen.
Für alle, die mit dem Zelt oder dem Wohnmobil anreisen und übernachten wollen, stellen wir um das Gelände Platz zur Verfügung. Wir bitten um Platzreservierung über die Eventseite. Bitte beachtet, dass es sich dabei um Wiesen handelt und kein Campingplatz-Komfort vorhanden ist.
Die Event-Location findet ihr mitten im Rhein-Main-Gebiet. Frankfurt, Darmstadt, Mainz und Wiesbaden liegen in unmittelbarer Nähe. Entsprechend viel Geocaches gibt es in der Region, darunter auch wirkliche Cache-High-Lights. Der internationale Flughafen Frankfurt (30 Kilometer entfernt) und auch der Flughafen Hahn (110 Kilometer entfernt) für Billig-Airlines sind die Zielflughäfen, wenn ihr aus dem entfernten Ausland zu unserem Event anreist.

Event am See 2024 from 05 to 07 July 2024
In 2024, it's that time again: the mega event series "Event am See" goes into the next round. Started in 2014, the mega event series began the history of this impressive event series. Before that, there were already events at the Vogel lake, but under a different name and with a different design.
In addition to the idyllic bathing lake and the cozy beer garden Vogel, there are many reasons why the event at the lake is so popular with numerous geocachers: the sociability, the entertainment, the relaxed ambience, the coziness and the family atmosphere are probably the main factors that distinguish this event series.
It kicks off on Friday with the legendary get-together party from 6:30 pm to around 11:00 pm. Also in 2024 you can expect an entertaining program with live music.
On Saturday the main event will take place from 10:00 am. In addition to numerous new caches, you will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of workshops. As a special attraction, traditional competitions will be held that afternoon. A lot of honor and recognition will be waiting for the winners. There will also be a great program for children: Cacherrellay, quiz and of course the great swimming lake. We will end the day comfortably with a funsel evening, where only candlelight and magical light play will determine the atmosphere.
On Sunday we say goodbye from 8:00 to 10:00 with a joint breakfast and a magnificent view over the lake. At 13:00 the bathing lake closes its gates.
As every year, you can look forward to an excellent tasting at small prices.
For those who arrive with a tent or camper and want to spend the night, we provide space around the site. We ask that you reserve space through the event page. Please note that these are meadows and no camping comfort is available.
You will find the event location in the middle of the Rhein-Main area. Frankfurt, Darmstadt, Mainz and Wiesbaden are in the immediate vicinity. Accordingly, there are many geocaches in the region, including real cache highlights. The international airport Frankfurt (30 kilometers away) and also the airport Hahn (110 kilometers away) for low cost airlines are the destination airports, if you travel from far away countries to our event.
