The 12 Days of Cachemas (TDOC23) is a series of 78 caches, events and adventure labs placed across Victoria to celebrate Cachemas in July in 2023. The series is a joint initiative of Geocaching Victoria and the local community to release caches in a different category each day across the state. We hope you have as much fun finding this series, as we had placing them. Now on to the cache.
On the ninth day of Cachemas, Signal gave to me,
nine letters boxing,
eight gadgets tricking,
seven TOTTs a-needing,
six events meeting,
five adventure labs,
four active CITOs,
three quirky challenges,
two earthcaches
and a wherigo up in a tree.
Take a walk along down the path to find the cachemas themed container. Following the trail will take you for a 45 minutes return walk where you will cover about 3km if you don't take a wrong turn.
Go to the listed coordinates and follow these instructions.
Start walking downhill.
After about 300m you will come to a fork in the path. Continue along the main path.
At the next fork, continue along the main path again.
After 520m turn right onto the side path.
At the Tee intersection, follow the arrow after 4km on the sign.
Follow the path until you go through a gate and stand in front of the large green sign, You will find gz 146.4 m @ 164 degrees. Stay on the path until you get to a small clearing with 2 large trees 25m from the projected coordinates.
The final location is approx. 380m from the starting point.
