The 12 Days of Cachemas (TDOC23) is a series of 78 caches, events and adventure labs placed across Victoria to celebrate Cachemas in July in 2023. The series is a joint initiative of Geocaching Victoria and the local community to release caches in a different category each day across the state. We hope you have as much fun finding this series, as we had placing them. Now on to the cache.
On the twelfth day of Cachemas, Signal gave to me,
twelve trads a-hiding,
eleven multis staging,
ten mysteries solving,
nine letters boxing,
eight gadgets tricking,
seven TOTTs a-needing,
six events meetingg,
five adventure labs,
four active CITO's,
three quirky challenges,
two earthcaches
and a wherigo up in a tree.

Baranduda Range Regional Park is one of my favourite places in the north east. This was the hide for a cache that sadly got archived a few years ago - one I found when I first was caching and realised how clever people could be. The hardware is still there but is beyond repair. Still a great spot to be and so I thought I would resurrect the site.
You can drive to within 20 metres of the cache in a 4WD but I normally walk from the suggested parking spot (the first 50 metres is the worst). The road to the parking spot can be rough, but is definitely accessible in a 2WD vehicle. Once you leave the road, it is a bit steep dropping down to the cache and the grass can be slippery, but not a hard walk by any means. Like many bush caches snakes might be an issue here. You will need to bring your own pen for this one.
