Maker Magic: Crafty Cornish Cachers! Event Cache

What?

• We are hoping to have a number of local cache hiders in attendance to share their knowledge and skills.
  
• The opportunity to create/camo a cache on the night to take away with you to hide.
  
• A display of 'different' Cache hides/accessories (please do bring your own creations and/or ideas along to add to the table).
  
• Workshops on how to use MagicMap to check cache locations and basic html code in your cache descriptions.
  
• The chance to chat to other cachers about your devious plans for future evil hides!
  

Why?
Some older players may remember the Maker Madness events back in 2014. Back then, according to Groundspeak…”Geocaches are a gift to the community. It’s time to get the community together to give back to those who make geocaching tick. Are you an accomplished geocache maker? Then this is your chance to share your mad skills and big brain with your fellow geocachers. This is your chance to show others how you implemented your best creations, or teach them the very basics of geocache making. If every attendee walks out of the event inspired to make their own awesome creation, just imagine all of the cool, new geocaches to find!
We heart geocache makers and we know that their local (and world) communities do too. If you yourself are not yet a maker, this is your chance to celebrate your favorites and pick up some tips and tricks for maybe placing your own cache one day”.

That sentiment is still just as true today and hopefully this event will inspire the creation and placement of a few new geocaches in the future although there is no obligation to hide a cache after attending this event!
