The Brown Teddies and two nosy parkers are often to be found caching together, sometimes close to their homes, in NW England and the Midlands respectively, and sometime further afield. When caching together, we call ourselves Team Gallivant, after our families accused us of always gallivanting off to some place or another, with geocaching in mind. We are always happy to meet other cachers, share geo-talk, swap and discover trackables and get tips on good local caches.
This event will be held on the grass adjacent to the car park in Ford Park (donations for parking are very welcome) and opposite the children's play area. If it's a nice day, bring a picnic chair or a rug. Look out for our hoodies. We'll bring some cake and there'll be a log book to sign. Everyone welcome.
If you're feeling energetic, you could join the Ford Park Parkrun at 9 am, where one of our number will be running their 100th run. Parkrunners and their supporters usually have breakfast in the cafe, called Base, after the run.
Fingers crossed for a fine day
