The City of Mission Viejo and many local cachers have created the very first Southern California GeoTour titled - Discover Mission Viejo. This event will be hosted at the Mission Viejo Farmer's Market and all Geocachers are welcome to join us for the launch of this GeoTour. There will be over 20 new caches launched on June 10th and if you successfully complete the GeoTour passport, you will be able to receive an official Discover Mission Viejo GeoTour Geocoin. Record the code word in each of the “Discover Mission Viejo Geotour” geocaches using the official passport (provided at event or online). When finished, you may turn in your completed passport at the Norman P. Murray Community Center (24932 Veterans Way) to receive a Discover Mission Viejo Geocoin (while supplies last).
The event will include some geocache swag and prizes. It should be a great day for caching and discovering Mission Viejo. More info will be added as the event gets closer.
