This is a chance for all players to meet and greet each other. While enjoying a picnic lunch and a little bit of Christmas.
After much planning, I have decided that we should all get together and a) celebrate Chrismas b) meet up with all the other people that we a playing with/against. The plan is, have a picnic/BBQ lunch at a great spot. The date is set down to be Sunday the 15th December, any time from before lunch til after but not staying on too late in the day. Sunday was chosen as most people won't be working on that day. I will be there from fairly early in the day.
The plan is everybody will bring their own picnic lunch or meat to BBQ.
The place has excellent facilities with BBQs, play equipment, toilets. And easy access from the major arterial road. Geodogs are allowed and there is an area where dogs can be off the leash as well.
If you could post a message that you would be interested and would come. I am quite excited, as some of the people I have met in my travels along geocaching expeditions.
The coordinates given at the top are the front gate, I will put a sign up giving directions to the exact place we are at, on the day. It was rainy when I marked the waypoint (11m accuracy) so I will go back and confirm it very soon
As to make it a little bit more Christmasy I propose to have everyone bring a small wrapped gift costing NO MORE than $10 that is non gender that can be put under a tree then when all the eating and socialising are done the presents will be distributed.
