Trimming Trails on Robinswood Hill
Parking: is available at the headline coordinates, at the end of Fox Elms Road. (Please note that this is not the main Robinswood Hill car park.) Should there be no spaces available here, there is another parking possibility further along the track (additional parking coords).
Where: We will meet at the given parking coordinates/meet-up point at Fox Elms Road at 09:30, and then make our way onto the Hill trails where we shall be working this morning. For anyone arriving later, please check the cache page for updates on our location, or contact me via the message centre.
What: We will be lightly trimming along the Tramper Trail and the Geology Trail, cutting back brambles and nettles, taking care not to disturb any nesting birds.
How: The Countryside Ranger will be there providing guidance. We ask you to bring your own gloves and if you have them tools, so if you have shears, loppers and secateurs please do bring them along. Don't worry if you don't have them as the ranger will have a supply too.
Health and Safety: The session and will be covered by Council insurance as long as you are working under the Countryside Ranger's instruction.
Please make sure you bring along your own refreshments as it can be thirsty work. Homemade cake will be provided at breaktime.
