This is a simple offset multi cache located in the village of Symington, South Lanarkshire.
An obelisk style war memorial commemorates those from the village of Symington who lost their lives in both World War I and World War II. The war memorial is located outside the village hall, on a crossroads in the village. Best parking for the war memorial can be found on Kirk Bauk, which is where the war memorial can be accessed from.
The final cache is a short drive away due to the built-up nature of the village. The cache can be found at N 55 3A.ABC W 003 3D.EFG, where:
A = Number of letters in the second word of the third line on the memorial.
B = Number of letters in the surname of the captain who was killed in WWII.
C = Number of letters in the first name of the first person listed on the WWII section of the memorial.
