Esta cache pretende divulgar uma obra coletiva, que reúne pinturas de 12 artistas em homenagem à escritora Agustina Bessa-Luís, junto à Faculdade de Letras da Universidade do Porto.
Agustina Bessa-Luís nasceu a 15 de outubro de 1922 em Amarante. Ao todo escreveu mais de 50 histórias e esteve ligada à comunicação social. Agustina Bessa-Luís foi premiada múltiplas vezes ao longo da carreira, tanto no País como no estrangeiro, sendo “A Sibila” e “Fanny Owen” algumas das suas obras mais conhecidas. Faleceu em 2019.
As comemorações do centenário de Agustina Bessa-Luís foram iniciadas no mês em que a escritora completaria 100 anos de vida, em outubro de 2022, através de um mural com 120 metros de comprimento a incluir palavras da autora e painéis evocativos da sua extensa obra, pela mão de artistas urbanos com estilos distintos. Draw, FEDOR, Third, OKER, SPHIZA, CAVER, Fátima Bravo, GLAM, MADUZE, Daniel Africano, Pedro Podre e Mafalda Mendonça foram os criadores envolvidos no projeto, todos com relação com a cidade do Porto, a cidade onde Agustina viveu boa parte da vida. A filha de Agustina Bessa-Luís, Mónica Baldaque, também contribuiu para esta homenagem.

This cache intends to disseminate a collective work, which brings together paintings by 12 artists in honor of the writer Agustina Bessa-Luís, next to the Faculty of Letters of the University of Porto.
Agustina Bessa-Luís was born on October 15, 1922 in Amarante. In all, she wrote more than 50 stories and was connected to the media. Agustina Bessa-Luís has been awarded multiple times throughout her career, both at home and abroad, with "The Sibyl" and "Fanny Owen" being some of her best-known works. She passed away in 2019.
The celebrations of the centenary of Agustina Bessa-Luís began in the month in which she would complete 100 years of life, in October 2022, through a mural with 120 meters long to include words of the author and panels evocative of her extensive work, by the hand of urban artists with different styles. Draw, FEDOR, Third, OKER, SPHIZA, CAVER, Fátima Bravo, GLAM, MADUZE, Daniel Africano, Pedro Podre and Mafalda Mendonça were the creators involved in the project, all related to the city of Porto, the city where Agustina lived much of her life. Agustina Bessa-Luís' daughter, Mónica Baldaque, also contributed to this tribute.
