位於圓山風景區的中央廣播電臺圓山微波站,規劃始於2007年,完工於2016年,它以自立式天線鐵塔往上延伸41.65公尺,總高度187.3公尺,約62層樓高.圓山微波站除了是央廣節目傳輸的第一站(央廣節目訊號由此傳輸至各地分台,再傳送至全球)之外,同時也肩負大台北地區水情資訊的監控與傳遞功能,河川水位.雨量等資訊都經由該站即時傳送到台北市政府的防颱中心,它兼顧著國際傳輸及守護市民安全的雙重任務.
Located in the Yuanshan Scenic Area, the Yuanshan Microwave Station of the Radio Taiwan International Station was planned in 2007 and completed in 2016. It extends 41.65 meters upwards with a self-supporting antenna tower, with a total height of 187.3 meters and a height of about 62 floors. Yuanshan Microwave Station is not only the first station for the transmission of Rti programs (from which Rti program signals are transmitted to sub-stations around the TAIWAN, and then to the whole world), it is also responsible for the monitoring and transmission of water information in the greater Taipei area. River water level, rainfall and other information are transmitted to the typhoon prevention center of the Taipei City Government in real time through this station, which takes into account the dual tasks of international transmission and protecting the safety of citizens.
