Dieser Cache ist dem Wyker Flugplatz gewidmet, der bereits im Jahre 1926 eröffnet wurde. In den 1930er-Jahren gab es mit der "Tante Ju" (Junkers Ju 52) sogar einen Linienflugbetrieb nach Berlin, Hamburg und Kiel. 

Heute dient der Verkehrslandeplatz hauptsächlich der Sportfliegerei und ist als Landeplatz für den Rettungshubschrauber "Christoph Europa 5" unerlässlich.

This cache is dedicated to the Wyk airfield, which was already opened in 1926. In the 1930s, there was even a scheduled flight service to Berlin, Hamburg and Kiel with the "Tante Ju" (Junkers Ju 52). 

Today, the commercial airfield is mainly used for sport aviation and is essential as a landing site for the rescue helicopter "Christoph Europa 5".
