Geocache Description:

One of our local puzzle stalwarts, Geodanimal, recently surpassed 10k finds. In honor of his achievement I present my own riff on two of his best puzzles: GCR1BM and GCYX5F. Similarly to those puzzles, here you'll be presented with clues for a pair of words. One word is the anagram of the other word minus one letter. I've decided to spice things up a bit in this version, so instead of cluing the words in each pair separately I will have one combined clue for each pair. For simplicity's sake the longer word will always come first in the most intuitive ordering of the answer. For example: the clue "Destroyed badminton racket" can only be referring to an "OBLITERATED BATTLEDORE". You will see that BATTLEDORE is an anagram of OBLITERATED minus the I. Simple, yes? Once you have all of your word pairs enter the first letter of each word as one sequence in Certitude to get the final coordinates. (For example, if your final word list was ORANGE ARGON; STRONG TONGS; THERMIC HERMIT then your Certitude keyword would be OASTTH.)

  1. CV for Mary Wilson or Florence Ballard
  2. English or Dutch indication of pain
  3. Summer drink from the Middle Ages
  4. Touched breakfast items inappropriately
  5. Appetizers made from certain organs
  6. Pincer bugs spouting expletives
  7. Unsuitable name for a certain tree fruit
  8. Shallow salty desert basins found behind your nose
  9. A way to catch many lizards or snakes at once
  10. Copies bits and crumbs
You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.
