I have hosted several River Fowey cleans but never have done this stretch before. We are going to paddle down stream with the out going tide and end up at Golant.
I will provide black bags for the rubbish and the plan is to clear the river banks which are inaccessible from land . Please bring your own gloves .
All rubbish collected will be taken to the civic amenity site , by myself , after the event
We are going to leave one vehicle at Golant which we will use to take people back to the headline Co-ordinates at Lostwithiel but have a max capacity of 5 people plus ourselves.
Obviously only the drivers need a lift back so we have the capacity to take 5 teams of cachers.
If any others are willing to use 2 vehicles it will be greatly welcomed (Golant waypoint is below)
Logging a "Will Attend" is imperative due to the logistics here as you could be left high and dry ..... or wet .
Prompt timing is crucial also as this is tide dependant and if we miss the high tide there will not be enough water to continue .
