Geocache Description:

If you want credit for this find read EVERYTHING below.

The coordinates above are for the boat dock at the Lodge. You will need to get on the boat here after finding the first clue below.

Now that the walking trail has been reopened, you can also visit both ends of the cache hunt using the fitness trail.

The best way to solve this adventure is to stay at a Disney resort. If you are at any Disney resort you will be able to park at the Wilderness Lodge. Disney lets you visit other resorts to eat and shop, so your resort parking pass will gain you entrance. After solving the first puzzle you can take the boat to Fort Wilderness and solve the second.

If you are not staying at a Disney resort, the security will frown on you entering and parking at the Lodge.

To get credit for the adventure, post photos of both of the items at the coordinates and referenced in the clues. Include something unique in the photo, such as you, your gps, something you bought at Disney, so that I can tell you were there. I will no longer accept finds from people that do not post the correct photos. There are way too many people that try to cheat on this one and never actually bother to do the cache. I realize you are most likely on vacation and may need to return home to post pictures, but I think a month is plenty of time. NOTE: Post photos, do not email them to me. Though photos of the trail and the inside of the lodge are nice, and we love to see them, please include the photos of the cache too or you will NOT get credit!

The Adventure Begins:

1) N28 24.601 W 081 34.300
Making his way through the Florida Wilderness, Davy stumbled upon this natural wonder. At first he thought it was simply a pool of water only to be surprised when it erupted, drenching him and his coonskin cap. Named by his friend George, this location was lost for many years until it was rediscovered when the lodge was built.

2) N28 24.714 W 081 33.698
This famous watering hole became Davy's second home during his adventures in Florida. He and George spent many a night here recounting tales of gators and indians. After Davy moved on, the locals renamed the establishment in his honor.
