Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Susan C. Kellner Pocket Park!

This cache is in a park near one of the Memorial Villages, Bunker Hill Village, and by the local elementary school, Bunker Hill Elementary. This park is the only park that's accessable by most of the village. Here's some facts about Bunker Hill Village.

  • While the village is not in the City of Houston, the postal service accepts "Houston" for all addresses in the village.
  • When German farmers settled in the area, they built sawmills.  A 1936 country highway map shows that they had scattered residences near one of the sawmills. This started the city.
  • In the mid-1950s, they tried to form a muncipality of Spring Branch, but failed, and it was then created successfully in 1954.
  • Bunker Hill Village is one of Forbes' top 25 places to retire rich.
  • Two elementary schools are located in the city limits, Bunker Hill Elementary, and Frostwood Elementary School.
  • The city has a total of 1.5 square miles.

Now about the cache,

Small tupperware container, relatively easy to find. Please leave it securely where you found it.

If the container is on the floor, please log an "Owner Attention Requested" or include it in your log.

Muggles should not be a problem, because this park is often deserted.

Thanks for visiting!

Congrats to sydtam for a spectacular FTF!
