Con questa cache vorrei farvi visitare gli scavi archeologici situati sotto la biblioteca Salaborsa. Qui è possibile vedere da vicino i resti della basilica civile di Bononia, le fondamenta delle case medievali dell'area di palazzo d'Accursio e le vestigia cinquecentesche dell'Orto Botanico del naturalista Ulisse Aldrovandi.

Nel momento in cui sto pubblicando questa cache (11/12/2022), gli orari d’apertura sono i seguenti:
Lunedì dalle 14.30 alle 19
Da martedì a sabato dalle 10 alle 19
Vengono inoltre organizzate visite guidate di circa 45 minuti, però per tutte le informazioni dettagliate vi rimando direttamente al sito della biblioteca.
ATTENZIONE, per visitare gli scavi è necessario effettuare un’offerta libera.
Non mi piace molto l’idea di farvi pagare per accedere alla cache, però fidatevi di me, per il costo di un caffè (anche meno, penso che in realtà anche 50 centesimi bastino) ne vale decisamente la pena.
LA CACHE
Il waypoint punta all'entrata della biblioteca. Quello che dovete fare è entrare e dirigervi verso gli scavi al piano interrato. Mentre li visitate (potete girare liberamente) osservate i pannelli informativi per raccogliere i numeri che vi serviranno per calcolare le coordinate del final.
1) Controlla la porta ESTERNA del caveau. Quanti buchi ci sono sul lato sinistro? Questo numero è A.
2) L'11 settembre di quale anno è esplosa una bomba? Questo numero è B.
3) Quale è il diametro IN METRI dei pozzi del II secolo a.C.? Questo numero è C.

Divertitevi. Il contenitore si trova in una strada poco trafficata, ma comunque state attenti a non essere visti. Vorrei che la cache durasse il più a lungo possibile!

With this cache I would liketo make you visit the archaeological excavations located under the Salaborsa library. Here it is possible to see the remains of the civil basilica of Bononia, the foundations of the medieval houses in the area of Palazzo d'Accursio and finally the remains of the Botanical Garden built by the naturalist Ulisse Aldrovandi during the sixteenth century.

Tuestay to Saturday from 10 to 19

WARNING, to visit the site, you have to make a free donation.
I don't like the idea to make you pay to play my cache really much, but since the donation is free, you can offer a very small sum (even 50 cents is fine), and I think it's totally worth it.
ABOUT THE CACHE
The waypoint leads to the library entrance. What you have to do is go inside and head towards the excavations downstairs. During your visit (you are free to roam around and stay as much as you need) look at the information panels to collect the numbers that you need to calculate the final coordinates.
1) Check the EXTERNAL door of the vault. How many holes are there on the left side? This number is A.
2) A bomb exploded on September 11 of which year? This number is B.
3) What is the diameter IN METERS of the wells dating back to 2nd century B.C? This number is C.
