To those arriving in London the day before the Mega, welcome to the weekend of London Calling 2023! We open the festivities in Festival Gardens, in the shadow of the famous St Paul's Cathedral. We have exclusive use of this little City of London park. The gardens were created in 1951, as part of the Festival of Britain. Of course, St Paul's itself is an iconic London building, consecrated in 1697 and was the tallest building in London until 1963.
This is a chance to meet up with other cachers from near and far on the day before the Mega. There won't be any food/drink available directly on site but there's a variety of coffee shops and restaurants just a short walk away in pretty much all directions.
We will not be distributing supporter packs at this event. However, Platinum pack buyers will be able to pick up their wristbands so they can immediately access London Calling 2023 itself for their additional half-hour between 10:30 and 11 am the following morning (general entry for non-platinum pack owners is from 11 am).
