En montant dans ce faubourg d'Eymouiters, on arrive à un magnifique point de vue sur le centre ville d'Eymoutiers.
De ce point de vue panoramique sur la cité, on distingue nettement ce centre médiéval d'Eymoutiers autour de sa très belle église collegiale. Sur la gauche de la collegiale, on apercoit le couvant des Ursulines (aujourd'hui la mairie et autrefois le collège du village). En contrebas, on distingue égelement la Vienne qui traverse la commune et les maisons des tanneurs qui la longent. En arrière plan, le puy Lachau qui domine la cité.
La plus belle vue sur Eymouiters! Ou au moins une vue magnifique qui vaut le detour.
Sur le site on trouve une sculpture en bois circulaire, la « Plate-forme », réalisée par l’atelier 1:1 dans le cadre de la résidence architectes et paysagistes du Centre d’Art et du Paysage de l’île de Vassivière. On peut y "entrer" et s'y assoir pour admirer le panorama.
Un QR code à flasher à l'entrée donne accès au site internet de la visite d'Eymoutiers et permet de recuperer des informations supplementaires sur cette belle vue.
On peut très facilement se garer devant la cache au bord de la route, il y a très peut de passage dans cette rue. La cache n'est pas facilement accessible aux personnes à mobilité réduite, mais depuis la route qui surplombe la vue est identique et on peut en profiter également.
Going up in this suburb of Eymoutiers, you arrive at a beautiful view of the town center of Eymoutiers.
From this panoramic point of view on the city, one clearly distinguishes this medieval center of Eymoutiers around its amazing collegiate church. On the left of the collegiate church, you can see the convent of the Ursulines (today the town hall and formerly the village college). Below, you can also make out the Vienne which crosses the town and the houses of the tanners which run along it. In the background, the Puy Lachau which dominates the city.

On the site there is a circular wooden sculpture, the "Platform", produced by the 1:1 workshop as part of the architects and landscape architects residency of the Center for Art and Landscape on the island of Vassivière. You can "enter" it and sit there to admire the panorama.

You can very easily park in front of the cache on the side of the road, there is very little traffic on this street. The cache is not easily accessible to people with reduced mobility, but from the road above the view is identical and can be enjoyed as weel.
