SAG (Straits Area Geocachers) has adopted a 2 mile stretch of North US 31 Highway. We pick up trash along this section 3 times a year and this is the Fall CITO.
The coordinates are parking - the long term lot at Pellston Regional Airport. To access parking, make an immediate left onto the service drive that parallels the highway and bike trail to reach the parking lot.
Garbage bags, safety vests and latex gloves are provided. We have a few garbage picker uppers available also.
A light refreshment along with bottled water will be provided. Children younger than 12 and pets are permitted but must be supervised by the parent or guardian. The 2 mile section is divided and it usually takes 90 minutes.
