Mark your calendars! We are in the process of planning a new set of caches for the Assiniboine Park Zoo and will release them with “Journey of the Wild Ones” on Saturday, October 1, 2022. This event’s format will be similar to our 2021 event to allow caches to be found, and logbook signed, throughout the day.

The caches will be available starting at 9:00am for all of you FTF fanatics, and the event log will be near the entrance gate inside the zoo. The event log book will be available until 4:00pm so that people can arrive whenever they’d like throughout the day, grab some new caches, and enjoy lunch at the Tundra Grill, or a picnic at one of the many tables placed around the zoo. The zoo closes at 5:00pm.
Admission, or membership, to the Assiniboine Park Zoo is required to participate in this event.

Should our health restrictions change, specific expectations throughout the zoo will be determined by the organization and government guidelines, and attendees will be notified by announcements. Currently, masks are not mandatory at the Park and Zoo, although we do recommend their use indoors and when physical distancing is not possible.
