August 20th is International Geocaching Day, and any geocacher who finds a cache or attends an event will acquire a souvenir. Additionally, geocachers are trying to break the record for most explorers (geocachers and adventurers) logging a cache find, Adventure Location, or Event in a single day. The current record is 126,833 explorers and it was set on August 11, 2013. If said record is broken, there will be a second souvenir awarded.
