It's the Dog Days of summer and we all HATE to go caching in this weather. The heat, the humidity, the mosquitoes, the ticks, the poison ivy, etc. What can one do to celebrate International Geocaching Day without completely melting away? How about getting together for some cold ones and conversation while we wait for the cooler weather to arrive? Sound good? Great. Here's the details:
Let's meet up from 12:15pm to 1:45pm at before the sun and heat becomes completely unbearable. I know it's early, but afterwards you have plenty of time to do other things in the coolness and darkness of your air conditioned dwellings. Earning a souvenir for International Geocaching Day while surrounded by fellow cachers and a few cold ones equals a win in my book.
Novice geocachers are especially encouraged to attend, and the establishment is child, dog, and wombat friendly.
