Take part in The Dark Arts of Geocaching at Purser-Hulsey Park Matthews with a
Night Cache
You will want to use the Phillips Rd. entrance and parking. The Trail-Head and nearest parking are provided. Enter the Trail-Head and very shortly you will encounter a "T" intersection. Turn to the right then raise your flashlight(s) to head height, start walking and look for TWO reflective spots. This will begin your journey seeking the next single reflector The route generally follows the walking / biking paths you need to follow. There are a few "off path" ventures along the way cutting between paths shortening the route. Most of these are immediatey after your initial left turn. Be sure to sweep the fields if you are lost after the last Tac found. The path is not always along the desginated daylight path.
You may not see the next reflector right away but a few steps and sweeps of the light(s) should reveal the next point. Be aware that there are several additional reflective tacks at park defined markers. Follow the brighter "WING TACS" on the sides of trees rather than the fainter round tacks of the park centered on the tree trunk. (some may assist in locating the proper tacs and general path. Others my lead you off route)
Follow the WING TACS until you again see TWO. Here you will find the coordinates to the FINAL provided you are able to figure out how to read those coordinates. You have everything you need to decifer the coordinates. Use The Dark Arts to reveal those coordinates.
The FINAL is a straight forward cache hidden at the coordinates provided at the end of the WING TAC trail not too far away from your current location. Good luck finding your way back to the parking area.
(You should have the coordinates for parking and a sign is posted two steps back from the two WING TAC end of trail if you want to follow the provided trails. Essentially back track a few to the junction and turn right . There is yellow sign at the junction "to Parking" pointing to the right as welll. Still you have 1+ miles to go if you follow the path.)
