FINALLY - The long-awaited ELIZABETH LINE IS OPEN
This Event is to celebrate the opening of the long-awaited Elizabeth Line (aka "Crossrail"). The section from Paddington to Abbey Wood will open on 24 May 2022. Passengers wanting to travel further will need to change either at Liverpool Street in order to travel to the statons as far as Shenfield or change at Paddington for stations to Heathrow or Reading. These sections of the line are already running as TfL Rail but will be rebranded to the Elizabeth Line. It is hoped that next year the service will be able to run the length of the line.

outside Tottenham Court Road Station on the east side of Charing Cross Road
There is a large open space with large stone block benches right next to the outside of the station. I will be there with trackables. Hopefully the weather will be kind. Bring your lunch (or there are places nearby to buy food). Have a relaxed time for a geochat and exchange of trackables.
