Accessible by car from Plateau D'Assy or on foot/VTT from La Cote, Servoz (approx 1hr by foot from La Cote parking)
Plaine Joux est une petite station de sports d'hiver et d'été située sur la commune de Passy en Haute Savoie. Il y a du ski, du VTT, de l'équitation, de la randonnée, de la raquette, du parapente et de la luge à pratiquer ici. Il y a un camping simple et quelques restaurants et cafés ouverts en saison. Il y a des vues panoramiques sur le Mont Blanc, le Mont Joly et les chaînes de montagnes des Fiz. Depuis là, il est possible d'explorer le Lac Vert à proximité (20 minutes à pied) et le refuge du Châtelet d'Ayères, de monter jusqu'aux Chalets d'Ayères ou même de randonner jusqu'au Lac du Pormenaz, au Point Noir du Promenaz et au Moëde d'Anterne.
**Veuillez ne pas marcher sur la zone de décollage du parapente ni grimper sur les balustrades en bois à aucun moment !**
Plaine Joux is a small winter and summer sports resort located in the commune of Passy in Haute Savoie. There is skiing, mountain biking, horse riding, hiking, snow shoeing, paragliding and sledging to be enjoyed here. There is a simple campsite and a few restaurants and cafes open in season. There are panoramic views of Mont Blanc, Mont Joly and the Fiz mountain ranges. From here it is possible to explore the nearby Lac Vert (20 minutes on foot) and the Chatelet d'Ayeres refuge, walk up to the Chalets d'Ayeres or even hike up to the Lac du Pormenaz, the Point Noir du Promenaz and the Moede d'Anterne.
